Admission 

Admission is

$5 a person 

Kids 10 and under is $1 

2 and under free 

Gates open at 10am Vendors will start closing at 5pm 

There is no extra fee for participating in the costume contests, the walking Goat parade, the demos or even the entertainment. It's all included in your Admission 

General Rules

Welcome to the Missouri Goat Festival! We're thrilled to have you and your goats join us for a day of fun and festivities. In order to ensure that everyone has a great time, we have a few general rules to keep in mind:

  • IF bringing a Goat. All Humans MUST be accompanied by their Goats at all times.
  • Goats MUST remain on leash/harness at all times.
  • No aggressive behavior will be tolerated.
  • Please no dogs.
  • No Bucks please. We are asking you to please leave the bucks at home. It will be breeding season and we all know how bucks can be especially around new Does. so for the safety of humans and goats alike we are saying NO Bucks. 
  • Please leave the grounds as you found them clean no trash or garbage. We will have several trash cans and a dumpster conveniently place thru out the grounds so please use them. 
  • Most importantly come! Come with or without your Goat/Goats and have the best day ever.

Costume Contest Guidelines

One of the highlights of the festival is our famous Goat Costume Contest! We encourage all goat owners to get creative and have a ton of fun with their costumes. Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:

*Costumes will be judged based on creativity and originality

*There is no limit as to what or how far you can take the costume. Let your creativity run wild. 

Registration

To participate in the festival activities, including the Goat Costume Contest and Goat Parade, there is no cost and  register is not required to be done in advance however it will be greatly appreciated if you would register.  Registration is quick and easy – just click the button below to sign up!

Demonstrations & Performances

Throughout the day, we'll be hosting demonstrations on cheese making, soap making, and milking. In addition, we have some amazing performances lined up from artists like Ruby Leigh, Posey Hill, and Vernon Kohlbusch. Be sure to check out our schedule for more details!
